Neutron rich nuclei in density dependent relativistic Hartree-Fock theory with isovector mesons

چکیده
Density dependent relativistic Hartree-Fock theory has been extended to describe properties of exotic nuclei. The effects of Fock exchange terms and of πand ρmeson contributions are discussed. These effects are found to be more important for neutron rich nuclei than for nuclei near the valley of stability. PACS: 21.10.Dr, 21.10.Gv, 21.60.Jz, 24.10.Jv

Relativistic density-dependent Hartree-Fock approach for finite nuclei.
The self-energy of the Dirac Brueckner-Hartree-Fock calculation in nuclear matter is parametrized by introducing density-dependent coupling constants of isoscalar mesons in the relativistic Hartree-Fock (RHF) approach where isoscalar meson σ , ω and isovector meson π , ρ contributions are included. The RHF calculations with density dependent coupling constants obtained in this way not only repr...
متن کاملIsotopic dependence of the pygmy dipole resonance
The isotopic dependence of the excitation energies of the pygmy dipole resonance (PDR) is analyzed in the framework of the self-consistent relativistic HartreeBogoliubov (RHB) model and the relativistic quasiparticle random-phase approximation (RQRPA). The DD-ME1 density-dependent meson-exchange interaction is used in the effective mean-field Lagrangian, and pairing correlations are described b...
متن کامل0 Density dependent hadron field theory for asymmetric nuclear matter and exotic nuclei
The density dependent relativistic hadron field (DDRH) theory is applied to strongly asymmetric nuclear matter and finite nuclei far off stability. A new set of in-medium meson-nucleon vertices is derived from Dirac-Brueckner Hartree-Fock (DBHF) calculations in asymmetric matter, now accounting also for the density dependence of isovector coupling constants. The scalar-isovector δ meson is incl...

The properties of the low-energy dipole response are investigated for the proton-rich doubly magic nucleus 48 Ni, in a comparative study of two microscopic models: fully self-consistent Relativistic Random-Phase Approximation(RRPA) based on the novel density-dependent meson-exchange interactions, and Continuum Random-Phase Approximation(CRPA) using Skyrme-type interactions with the continuum pr...
متن کاملRelativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov and RPA description of exotic nuclear structure
A review of recent applications of the relativistic mean-field theory to the structure of exotic nuclei is presented. Models based on the relativistic mean-field approximation provide a microscopically consistent description of the nuclear many-body problem, not only in nuclei along the valley of β-stability, but also in exotic nuclei with extreme isospin values and close to the particle drip l...
